Senior ELV Systems Engineer
Engineering & Projects Petaling Jaya / Project Sites Full-Time, Permanent

You'll lead the design, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems — CCTV, access control, public address, BMS — across large commercial and government projects. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you'll be the technical authority on site and the primary point of contact for clients during delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Design and specify ELV system architecture for projects across multiple sectors
  • Lead site commissioning, testing, and acceptance processes
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate with M&E, civil, and ICT teams
  • Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and as-built documentation
  • Support pre-sales through site surveys and technical proposals
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians on-site
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years in ELV systems — CCTV, access control, PA, BMS
  • Experience with government or infrastructure-scale projects
  • CIDB Green Card (required); CIDB certification preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM is a plus
  • Willing to travel to project sites as required
AI Systems Integration Engineer

You'll work inside the VAST-NXT.AI team, integrating AI video analytics, edge devices, and security management platforms across live client deployments. This is a hands-on technical role — equal parts software integration, networking, and field commissioning.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure AI video analytics modules at client sites
  • Integrate third-party security systems via APIs and middleware
  • Troubleshoot edge device networking and camera infrastructure
  • Write integration documentation and client-facing runbooks
  • Collaborate with the product team to surface field-found improvement areas
  • Support UAT and post-go-live monitoring for enterprise accounts
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with IP camera systems and network configuration
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and Linux environments
  • Exposure to AI/ML platforms or computer vision tools preferred
  • Strong problem-solving approach — you'll be debugging in the field
  • Comfortable with site travel across Peninsular Malaysia
Project Manager — Infrastructure

You'll own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects — from kickoff through to client sign-off. You'll coordinate across engineering, procurement, and subcontractor teams, and you'll be the single point of accountability for scope, schedule, and quality on your projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets
  • Manage client relationships through regular progress reporting
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and on-site teams daily
  • Identify and manage risks before they become issues
  • Ensure quality, HSE compliance, and documentation standards are met
  • Lead project close-out and warranty handover processes
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years PM experience in M&E, ELV, or ICT infrastructure
  • Proven track record managing projects valued above RM 2M
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage
  • Experience with government contract structures (JKR, CIDB) preferred
  • Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
